Easter Gathering
Our Easter gathering will be Sunday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m. Come celebrate Christ’s resurrection!
On Friday, April 2nd from 7-9pm, we will have an interactive Stations of the Cross experience set up at Foskett Ranch Elementary. Families and individuals are invited to come participate any time in the 2 hour period to experience this powerful time together at their own speed.
Ash Wednesday
You’re invited to embrace the season of preparation for Easter, called “Lent.” The 40-day season of considering our need for a savior begins on Ash Wednesday. We’re gathering again this year on Wednesday, February 17th at the beautiful Lincoln United Methodist Church (629 I Street) at 7pm.

Last Sunday Emmaus was affirmed by our parent organization as a Church of the Nazarene.
What does this mean?
– Emmaus has been officially recognized by The Church of the Nazarene as our own non-profit organization.
– Resources, such as the “HUB” and the Virginiatown property, previously owned by our network will be transferred to Emmaus.
– Accountability to our network leadership remains, but greater responsibility is placed on our own church community’s leadership team. Before the lead pastor selected the leadership team; beginning in 2010, this team will be elected by the church community.
If you have any questions about this, or the organizational structure of our community, please don’t hesitate to ask! It’s an honor to serve as your pastor. – Nathan
