Relay for Life
Lincoln’s Relay For Life event is on May 15th and 16th at the Lincoln High school track. NOW IS THE TIME TO SIGN UP AND REGISTER! We’d love our whole church community to get involved by running or walking for an hour or more, helping to raise funds or help serve during the event. Four highlights for the Relay For life 24 hr event:
* The Survivor Lap – Come celebrate and cheer on our survivors who have been battling cancer at 9:30am
* Kids Zone Music – All the kids will gather together for a fun time of music and singing led by Darrell Haskins at 11:00am
* The Music Room – We’re excited to have Aimee, Dane and Jesse come out and play and sing at 4:30pm
* Songs and Testimonies of HOPE – Darrell Haskins will lead songs of hope and Mike Stanphill will share his testimony of hope at 6:15pm
* Luminaria Ceremony – Our 10-13 and Ember students will help get hundreds of luminarias filled and lit for this powerful ceremony as we walk the track in silence remembering loved ones and praying for those that are fighting the cancer battle. Come join us at 9:00pm.
Emmaus Men’s Weekend – October 8 – 10, 2010
Register for our first-ever men’s weekend at the St. Columbia Retreat House in Inverness, CA by emailing gentry@emmauscommunity.org and paying a $50 deposit [to Emmaus Church].
